Andrew has been an active member of the Sage Accountants Advisory Board since 2017. Last Thursday he joined other advisory board members in Manchester to discuss all things Making Tax Digital for Income Tax Self-Assessment (MTD for ITSA) and heard how Sage is helping Accountants, Bookkeepers, Sole Traders and Landlords to deal with this.
Today Sage announced;
“An enhanced end-to-end solution for accountants to support sole traders and landlords through every step of Making Tax Digital.
Sage Accounting Individual, available to accountants first, will help support clients with less complex needs in preparation for Making Tax Digital for Income Tax Self-Assessment (MTD for ITSA).
Launch of Hammock partnership is the dedicated solution to digitally record and submit property income, including from buy-to-lets and furnished holiday rentals, which can support the 1.3m UK landlords impacted by MTD ITSA.”
One of the biggest problems of MTD for ITSA has been the lack of a simple, cost-effective solution that would enable sole traders and landlords to comply with their digital record keeping requirements. Finally, we have that solution.
The Sage press release quoted Andrew saying;
